Draupadi
Born out of a sacrificial fire and praised for her beauty, Draupadi was the daughter of King Drupada of Panchaal. Draupadi, also called as Krishaa for her dark complexion, was won over by Arjuna at an archery competition (Swayamvaram) conducted by her father. Arjuna’s mother, Kunti, unknowingly asks Arjuna to share his precious prize with rest of his brothers, and thus Draupadi marries all the Pandavas! Through the trials that follow, Draupadi prays to Lord Krishna to protect her.
